An adventurer and optimist I often describe myself as a leader of a one-mom cottage artistry. I enjoy creating paper cuts, pop-ups, painting, and prints from my home studio when my young son is sleeping. With degrees in graphic and studio arts my education has taken me to Europe and Asia. I draw on my life experiences and nature both here and abroad as inspiration for my work. I love paper because it is accessible, flexible, renewable and oh so beautiful! About four times a year I teach pop-up techniques at a local community arts center. http://www.GCAEbooksatrscenter.etsy.com Other activities I enjoy in the "cottage" are cooking for my little family; reading, dancing & romping with my toddler and listening to my husband sing and play guitar.
